Some updates on my mom

She was able to get the results of her pap smear and her OB said that there is nothing alarming with the results. It’s just that the lining is a little thick that’s why a D&C is really recommended.

She has been experiencing bleeding since yesterday which is a sign that her cervix has finally opened up. Her OB will check her tomorrow to see if the opening is enough to do the D&C.

Please include my mom in your prayers.

CSI Vegas: And Grissom proposed

Maybe we should get married. That’s how Grissom proposed to Sarah.

I was not able to watch the last episode of CSI Vegas last Wednesday and was only able to watch the replay today.

Sarah and Grissom we’re in a bee farm wearing suits to protect them from the bees. Grissom asked Sarah to try if the bee would sting her, and that’s when Grissom preferred to pop the question. Not the most romantic place to propose (but is very typical of Grissom that’s why I love the scene more), but I love Grissom and Sarah as a pair. And for Sarah who has long been waiting for Grissom to pop the question, the answer of course would be a definite Yes.

I can’t wait to see what would happen in the next episodes. I’m really excited for Sarah and Grissom’s love team specially now that their relationship is moving up to the next level.

I'm Bad

I know, I know I’m really bad. Today is our 10th year anniversary as bf-gf and I totally forgot about it. It really slipped my mind (maybe because I’m too stressed out or I’m just really forgetful this days).

Even when Howell called me up a few minutes before getting off from work, I still didn’t remember it. When Howell called, he asked what time I’m going home. I told him that I’ll be leaving in just a couple of minutes. And he said that I should leave right away and meet him at his office because he wants to go out for dinner. And then I ask why and he just said he just wanted to dine out. And up to that time it still hasn’t register in my brain that there is something special for this day. And I asked him again why and he said that it’s just the anniversary of someone he knows.

Oh my, and that’s the only time I realized that it is our anniversary. LOL. I’m really bad. (But that doesn’t mean I love you less, Dad.)

So I immediately left the office and meet him at his office. He said that we will go home first to fetch Bela so Bela can celebrate with us.

After fetching Bela, we still haven’t decided yet where to go. Howell wanted to go to Robinson’s Place since he wanted Crepes and Cream for dessert and he also wanted to go to MOA. And then he suggested Dampa in Macapagal. And both of us love the idea so we head to Trinity Macapagal for a sumptuous dinner. We had buttered crab, buttered shrimp and baked mussels. I totally forgot that only the three of us are eating (Yaya, Howell and Me) and I ordered too much that we still had our left overs until lunch the next day.

I am only human. I get tired too. I feel that I already did my part and it’s time for me to say “no” this time. I have my own problems to deal with and I have my own family to take care of.

It really makes me feel good that I was finally able to say no. A lot of times, I always say yes and it’s very difficult and very rarely for me to say no because I always want to be selfless, because I thought that it is the right and best thing to do. But I’m just too tired now, so I’m sorry but the answer is really NO.

Done with my Rounds

It’s a quiet day here in the office. A number of employees are already on leave (or in vacation mode already) that’s why I didn’t receive any phone calls or request for technical support. I was really glad as we we’re so busy last week up to yesterday that I’m always out of my room because we’re deploying new PCs at the immigration section. At least I was able to find time today to just catch up on my emails and just sit down and relax inside my room (which by the way, I might be loosing because of the renovations here at the 8/F and I don’t know yet where they will relocate us.)

So finally, I was able to blog hop, reply to all your comments and messages and got updated with what’s going on with your lives.

Hope all of you will have a blessed and safe Lenten week.

Bad Day

There are really some people who can get on your nerves. Argg!!

But what can I do? I can either let them affect me and let them ruin my day or I can just listen to this video of Daniel Powter?

I would rather choose option 2. Because at the end of the day I know I will always have a family to go home to, to cheer me up. I have a husband who never fails to listen and empathize with all my ranting. I have a daughter who never ceases to put a smile on my face.

So I’ll just let it pass, sing Daniel Powter’s Bad Day and just look forward to the end of the day when it’s time to go home to see my husband and daughter.

An end to my craving

Last Sunday, I was finally able to satisfy my craving for Racks Baby Back ribs. I was so full after eating since I was able to finish the half slab with the beans, extra rice and coleslaw. (Yeah, I am that a big eater.) I was so full that I didn’t eat merienda and I was still full until dinner time. LOL.

Happy and Tiring Sunday

We had one long and tiring Sunday. But it was fun too as we had one whole day of bonding time. But with all the activities we did for the day, I can’t seem to find the energy to do some posts tonight. Bela, a preschooler

Bela is now officially enrolled at Toddlers Unlimited. I went there last Friday to pay for the tuition fee for the summer class. Her schedule is every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 – 12:30 PM and their class will start on April 8, 2008.

They gave ma all the forms that have to fill out together with the student’s handbook and guidelines for the yaya too. I was reading their handbook and I have a good feeling about our decision in enrolling Bela to Toddlers Unlimited and their philosophy and mission is really in line with our goal for Bela. I hope she gets to enjoy the class so we can enroll her for the SY 2008-2009.

Does this mean I now officially have a preschooler? Oh, time move so fast.

Nappy Cakes

When I saw this on Nice’s blog, I immediately fell in love with it. LOL.

My best friend from high school just gave birth last January and I wanted to give her son this cute nappy cakes. Although, I don’t know yet when the christening would be. I’m just too excited. I’m too excited that I even inquired to Nice na. We talked about it for a bit last week at YM and she gave me other options too. What’s good with Nice’s nappy cakes is that I can give her my budget and she’ll work around on that budget.

I’ll definitely let you know Nice once I have the date for the christening.

Am I an addict?

I woke up early today with a lot of topics going on in my mind about the things I want to blog. And since Howell is already using the PC in our room, I decided to go downstairs to get all of this thought out of my mind and blog.

So am I a blog addict now? I remember I was chatting with Thea last week and I was telling her that my husband just called me to explain his side since my husband was able to read on my blog my post about our Silent War. And Thea said that it is one sign that you’re a blog addict already – when you’re husband gets constant updates on your blog instead of getting first hand information from me. I just wish that my regular posting on my blog will give be a better search engine positioning.
