This is it. This is Howell’s last week in Manila as he is leaving this Friday for Majuro. So to keep me preoccupied as I don’t want to entertain the thought that he will not be with us for three weeks, I decided to go to the mall yesterday to finish shopping for the things that he need for the trip.
I did not realize that it is a pay day weekend and it is the last weekend before the school opening, so I was shocked when we arrived at SM as the mall is really crowded. Imagine, the Package counter ran out of numbers to give to the customers who wish to leave their packages and shopping bags. Then when we entered the grocery, there are no grocery carts available. But we decided since we are there already, we might as well do our shopping because we might not be able to squeeze shopping to our busy schedule this week. He is still pushing with his plan to go with his family on their trip to Bicol on the 4th so I don’t think he will still have time this week to prepare his things and pack.
Before we go to bed last night, we were able to start packing Howell’s things. He just need a few more pants which our house help is already preparing and he is all set to go.
