While I was waiting for Bela’s swimming class to finish, I picked up a Life Style magazine at the waiting area that I can read to pass for time. There was one article there entitled, Truth.
The author was talking about a workshop that he just attended and they have an exercise where they have to share a simple truth which other people may not know about them. The author shared in his column some Truths about him and was inspired to do my own version.
Here are some personal truths about me which I think others may not know about:
1. As jolly and as cheerful as I may appear, but I’m a short tempered type of person. I may appear happy most of the time but I can easily get irritated even with just simple things.
2. I’m obsessed with budgeting. In fact I even use budget software to monitor all my expenses and balance my budget.
3. I’m really an impulsive buyer and sometimes, I really can’t control my shopping. But since I’m obsessed with budgeting (as what I mentioned in my second answer), even though I’m not frugal, I don’t go over budget and no matter how much I spend for shopping, I always have money left for all our basic necessities.
4. I’m so much in live with my daughter but I feel that I’m just not ready yet for another baby. I even feel guilty sometimes specially when I hear other mommies share their eagerness for their next baby. I just feel that our daughter still needs our full attention and I’m still enjoying taking care of her which for sure will be lessened if a new baby comes along.
5. I love going to the beach but I’m not comfortable when I’m in the water. I hate riding boats and even a slight feel of fishes on my body freaks me out that’s why I think I can never every try scuba diving.
6. I appear to be a happy go lucky type of student when I was in college but I was one of the geeky students when I was in high school. I’m obsessed with always getting a perfect score, I’m always the school representative for Math and Science Contest, I get perfect scores for almost all my Physics exams, etc.
So there. I guess, I revealed some of my secrets here.
