My mom and dad rushed my aunt to the hospital around 2 Am today because she is having high blood pressure. She is doing ok now, thank God. She was not admitted and she was just given medicines to help lower her blood pressure.
But I got really pissed when I heard what happened from my mom. Since it’s the wee hours of the morning when they brought my aunt to the emergency room of CHINESE GENERAL HOSPITAL , all the resident doctors are apparently “SLEEPING” when they arrived. At first, one of the doctors attended to my aunt. Well actually she did not really attend to my aunt since all she did was just asked what my aunt is feeling. And my dad answered she is having high blood pressure. Then the doctor argues that you don’t feel “high blood pressure”. My dad was a little pissed already with how they are dealing with my aunt’s condition so my mom took over in talking to the doctor. But after my mom described to the doctor how my aunt is feeling, she went missing in action and that’s when they found out that he went to sleep. The other doctor on the reception desk is also sleeping while the third doctor was also sleeping at the bed beside my aunt.
OMG, what kind of service is this. To think CHINESE GENERAL HOSPITAL is a private hospital. Lucky them I was not with my aunt because I would have wakened all of them up and they would definitely hear something from me. Hello, we’re paying customers here and it is an emergency.
But we are just thankful that nothing bad happened to my aunt and she’s doing ok now. I just hope that doctors at CHINESE GENERAL HOSPITAL will not do this with their other patients specially they are stationed at the Emergency Room.
