For the Shopaholic readers out there, you probably would remember that once of Rebecca Bloomwood’s dream is that she will suddenly receive her credit card bill and will find out that all her debts are gone.
Who wouldn’t want that to happen, right? Well almost the same thing happen with my Citibank credit card. I received my billing statement for this month and I have a –P12, 000 balance. So I was really surprised and so when I reviewed my bill, I discovered that they posted my payment for last month twice.
I was so happy after seeing that. I started to dream like Becky in the Confessions of a Shopaholic book. Imagine, I don’t have to pay anything for this month. I got really excited and started to plan already what I’m going to do with that excess money.
But then I realize, Citibank is not that stupid not to notice it (specially it is a big amount –P54, 000) and so my happiness was short lived. Maybe for this month, I don’t have to pay but for sure they will probably debit the double payment that they posted on my account.
And so I was right. I checked my account online yesterday and they already debited P54, 000 to my account. And so I thought, I will be able to fool Citibank. LOL.
